A Super Bowl-Birthday Party!

We decided that since Kael's birthday was on the 2nd we would have a Super Bowl party mixed with a birthday party on Sunday night. Things got even better when my grandma (who lives in Arizona) sent us Arizona gear so that we would have someone to cheer for. (Sorry James) We really didn't care who won because our loyalties in this family are split equally between two teams that couldn't win if their lives depended on it. (49ers and the Broncos). The boys were excited to get a package in the mail. They loved their new Arizona shirts. Kael thought his was the best because it had chili peppers rinding on a lizard. We had some friends over to watch the game and have lots of great food and then at half time we had Pokemon cake and ice cream. Thanks everyone for making Kael's birthday so much fun.

Gummy bugs that glow...not really...the plier things glow.

The boys thought they were awesome! (including Joseph)

Thanks grandma....they were a hit.

Pokemon families are forever.

Just an example of how much I love my boy.

Yes...those are Pokemon wall decals in my kitchen.

Kael with the Pokemon tablecloth.

He is not excited at all.

Pointing out his favorite guy.

It's Crogunk.

The beautiful cake.

You are such a good mom to let him have Pokemon in the kitchen! And I'm glad only the sticks were glow-in-the-dark, not the actual candy.
