The Good and Bad of Spring Break!!

Well spring break has come and gone. It was fun and it was not so fun...it depends on which part we are talking about!

The fun parts included....
*Joseph being home 24/7
*Having a day that reached 70 degrees and spending it at the zoo
*My parents coming to visit for 4 days.
*Doing a few home projects

The not fun parts included....
*Having every other day be 30 degrees and snowy
*Going to the doctor on Monday with Aidan....double ear infections
*Going to the doctor on Wednesday with Owen...RSV
*Going to the doctor on Friday with Kael....sinus infection

We did have a lot of fun together when the kids were feeling good, and we had a lot of fun with Grandpa and Grandma!

The kids are getting so old lately! Kael is getting smarter and more grown up everyday. Aidan is talking in sentences a lot of the time. And Owen is WILD! Yes, wild. He is interested in everything and tries to figure out how it works. He loves the recycling box and spends a lot of the day taking empty bottles out of it and carrying them to random places in the house. He is also climbing.....on EVERYTHING! Here is an example of a typical event from the last few days.....

Owen the climbing terror is on the kitchen table. In his hand are some items from the recycling box. He has taken all of the Kleenex out of that box next to him and put them somewhere else. He also has thrown 200 Pokemon cards all over the floor. Kael was not happy...he had them in order.

The worst part.....he's so dang cute that you can't even get mad.
Look at him! He is actually trying to say cheese!

My cute boys.
Aidan wasn't feeling too good so Kael and I made it to church hence Kael's dressed up look.
Aidan telling me to get lost.
Also this is Owen's new look. He looks like a happy little devil.
It fits him well.

When daddy is home we get to have yummy things like Orange Julius for breakfast......nice hair Aidy!

A close up of his wacky hair!

The one warm day that we went to the zoo.
Aidan hates it when we make him ride in the stroller.

Kael and Aidan chillin' with the gorillas.

Kael and his long lost brother

Feeding a goat at the petting zoo.

Owen getting one of his many breathing treatments.
We are now the proud owners of this beautiful nebulizer.

Still cute even when he's sick

Grandma Sid and Kael playing Leapster

Grandpa Steve tickling Aidan

Our friends Aaron and KJ found this fruit.
It's a churimoya (sp?) from Chile where Joseph and Aaron both went on their missions.

It just looks gross!

Apparantly it was way too ripe and it was gross.
But it still brought back memories for them!

We took my parents back to the zoo, and let the kids hang from the vines in the jungle.

And my dad let Kael climb on this huge rock in front of the Desert Dome
Getting brave and flexing for us.

Aidan and Owen were worn out!

Watching Wall-E. (Well some of them are watching!)

We went to the Amazing Pizza Machine and it was Amazing!!
It was really fun and extremely clean compared to Chuck E. Cheese!

Cute Owen eating some pasta

Aidan riding the train.

Owen riding the train.
I think he liked it!

Aidan climbing in the playland

Hitting some aligators

Owen in the play land.

Aidan peeking down from the top of the play place.
I didn't even get one picture of Kael because he made friends with a little girl and he was always off with her playing something and holding her hand. He really is a Johnson.

We had a fun spring break and had a great time spending time with Daddy and Grandpa and Grandma. We are back to school this week, but hopefully it will start to warm up around here!!

All of your kids were sick? That is so hard. Kael really is so funny. He makes me laugh. He was over yesterday just playin' in the basement...Sadie was outside. It's always more fun to play with someone else's toys!

I really enjoy your posts. Thank heavens for blogs so Aunt Marsha and "her boy" can keep up with the cute things your kids do. I've had two new grandkids, Cayden and Ava, since you've been gone. Tiffany and Daryl had a baby girl this morning! Adam and Justin, two more cousins, are getting married in April. Give your boys, all four of them, a hug from me.
