More Visitors!

My parents got to come for a long weekend this past weekend. We had a great time and loved having them here. They got to see the boys trick or treat and also got to come to Aidan's Halloween parade. We took them to Old Chicago, Paradise Bakery, HyVee (only because we had to get some groceries), and of course the Henry Doorly Zoo. My dad even got to participate in the weekly BYU party at our house. The boys loved having them here and they are already asking when they are coming back and when we get to go back to Brigham. Soon! Only about six weeks until Christmas Break! My parents brought the boys these way cute shirts that say "Thing 1" "Thing 2" and "Thing 3". They are awesome. Here are some pictures of the boys sporting their shirts at the zoo.

Is he not the cutest baby you have ever seen

Aidan is very loving and wanted to give everything a kiss

These birds thought Aidan was the most hilarious thing they had ever seen. They came right up to the window and stared at him. It made him all excited so he would yell and laugh and they would just stare and bounce up and down. It was great.

The boys by this cute elephant. They loved it. You can see Owen's new shirt pretty well in this picture.

What a cute little guy.

Kael with a statue of a parrot

Kael taking a turn riding on the elephant

Aidan not too happy about being on the elephant

Aidan kept grabbing his trunk and saying "tunk" and giving it a kiss.

A rare picture of Aidan smiling. Isn't he so cute?

And another one, so I had to add it!

Trying to get a good picture of all of my boys on this turtle. Instead it turned into a picture of how things are in real life! :) Atleast it's fun to look at though!

Kael with a strange looking monkey! Kael looking in a bubble to watch the penguins!
Kael and Grandpa Steve crossing the rope bridge in the jungle!!
Thanks Grandpa Steve and Grandma Sid for coming to see us! We loved having you here and we miss you already!!
Also, we just wanted to thank everyone for all of their prayers for Aidan. We went to the spine specialist yesterday. He looked at Aidan's x-rays that the other doctor had taken. In those x-rays the curve of his spine was measuring 53 degrees which is awful, especially for a 3 year old. As he was looking at them he asked us if Aidan was laying down or standing up when they were taken. We told him that Aidan had been standing up. He shook his head and said that you never ever take x-rays of a child's spine when they are standing because you can't expect a child to stand up straight with perfect posture so it is impossible to really measure the curve. They took Aidan back and did an x-ray with him laying down and the curve measures 32 degrees! A 21 degree difference! This is major! A 53 degree curve is basically automatic spine surgery. A 32 degree curve is a watch and see. We have to take him to get an x-ray every 3 months to watch for any changes, but we are so happy with the new information. We hope that things will stay the same or improve as he grows. Thank you all again for your prayers!
