Chilean Independence Day and New Carpet!

We have been having some fun around here lately. On September 18th we celebrated Chilean independence day with our friends the Smiths. Joseph and Aaron both served a mission in Chile. We had completas (delicious, glorified hot dogs) chips, and Pineapple pop. It was delicious! We are lucky to have such fun friends. Unfortunately Joseph took all of the pictures so he is not even in any of them!! :(

Me, KJ, and baby Gray
Aaron....very happy to be boiling hot dogs and for the Chileans and their independence.

Owen loved the completos!

Aaron's completo. And his Chilean soccer jersey in the background.

Aaron enjoying his food.

Also on a happy note, Chile made it to the World Cup this year!! Joseph is SO excited!

Here is our kitchen with all of the kitchen and living room furniture in it!

Couches in the kitchen

The night before we got carpet we had to have all of the furniture moved out of the living room and both of the boys bedrooms. We had a picnic in the living room with Little Ceasars pizza and then we had a sleepover in the basement! It was a blast!

Eating breakfast in the basement.

YAY! The finished product! We LOVE it!

Another view of the living room.

We made the boy's beds into bunk beds.
They were SO excited! They love them!

Kael thought it was the best day ever!
