Some Pumpkin Fun

For family home evening this week we got some pumpkins for the boys. We decided to paint them instead of carving them. For some reason in my head I thought that painting would be less of a mess than carving. I don't know if it was any better, but the boys loved it!

Kael starting to paint his pumpkin. He was SO excited!

Aidan watched Kael for a second and then just started to paint!! I can't believe how old he is!

We always say that Aidan eats anything that doesn't move faster than him, and here is some proof! After painting for a few minutes he decided that he would try some paint. Gross!! Apparantly Raphael is helping him with his pumpkin!

Kael wanted his pumpkin to be every color of the rainbow. He was mad that we didn't have yellow.

Here they are after their painting was all done. They had to get in the bath, but first I had to get a picture of their painting clothes. I was inspired by Kylee and found them some of our old T-shirts to wear. Kael wanted to know why you had to wear a dress to paint!! And then he was mad that Daddy didn't have to wear a dress!
