Every year on the Friday night after Thanksgiving we have a Johnson Family Sleepover. We have been doing this since the Thanksgiving after Joseph and I got married (so for the last 6 years). This year we had 14 adults and 9 kids. It is the first year we have ever had all of us at the party. There are a lot of pictures that I posted of some of the random things that we do at the party, but mostly we just all get together to have fun and be crazy. We had a lot of fun this year and when we think about it, we will be sad to miss it next year when we are in Omaha. Maybe we will have to have everyone come and see us for the sleepover! Here are some pictures of how much fun we had. (They are not one bit in order).
This is the first year that we have planned activities for the kids. One of them was finger painting. They had SO much fun. Here is a before picture of some of the kids. Kael is on the left, my niece Shelby is in the middle, and her brother Darant is on the right.
The kids decided that it was more fun to paint themselves with the paint. Look how much fun Kael is having!

A picture that someone took of Joseph and I at about 2:00 in the morning. We really get into this party and we stay up forever. There were a couple of us that made it until 6 in the morning. I was not one of them!

The next two pictures are of Joseph and James participating in the Johnson version of pole dancing. I think the top picture is pretty impressive myself.

I can't believe how big your little guy is getting already. And I can't believe he's six weeks old! I remember when Marcie's little girl was born. Time goes by way too fast. You're a nice mom to let your kids paint all over themselves:).
such a fun weekend! it never crossed my mind you guys wouldn't be here next year :( lame!! screw dental school and tell joey to do something else! i'm kidding :) i'm excited for him to be a dentist. excited to see you on sunday!! p.s. you ended the post on the right note!! what a cute baby =)
I just love the Johnson fam. I bet you guys all have so much fun together. That picture of Marce makes me really miss her. You all look so cute and have such beautiful children. I'm glad Joe's mom is doing well, and I am sorry to hear about your dad, I had no idea. I hope and pray everything is okay.
