Thanksgiving at my house

We went to my parents house for Thanksgiving Day. We always celebrate it with my family and then with Joseph's family on Friday. This year we just had a small group, but we still had a lot of fun. My parents invited Joseph's parents and John and Joanna to dinner, and we also had Michelle's boyfriend Dave come up. My brother Chris went to his girlfriend's parents house, but they came later for dessert. We had a lot of fun and a ton of good food. We have so much to be thankful for this year. It was nice to be able to spend the weekend with our families and just enjoy being together. I loved having Joseph home for four whole days with us. Only two more weeks of school until Christmas break!! YAY! Here are some pcitures from our fun Thanksgiving Day....

Kael teaching Grandpa Chad and Aidan how to play the computer. This is his new thing. He plays it ALL the time, and he can really use the mouse and type all by himself. It's amazing. He can get on the internet and go to favorites and get on the Disney website and play games for hours if we would let him!
Grandpa Chad and Grandma Chele enjoying Thanksgiving dinner. I know that it looks like Michele is crying, but she is not. She was actually laughing so hard she was crying. That is usually what she is doing when we all get together. Her hair is growing back so fast and is really thick. She has been done with her chemo for about two months and she is feeling a lot better. We are so glad to still have her here with us.
Grandpa Steve and Grandma Sid also enjoying dinner. My mom is also laughing about something. We are also glad to have my dad here with us still. My dad and Michele (Joseph's mom) both had cancer this year and they are both finished with their treatments and are cancer free now! We love both of them!

Kael eating a roll at dinner. He would only eat this roll and a whole pile of corn. He is a really picky and strange kid!

Uncle Johnny, Aunt Jo holding Owen, Aunt Michelle and Grandma Sid talking before dinner. Joseph was in the mirror on purpose.
Aunt Joanna holding Owen.
My dad peeling potatoes. He is in charge of the mashed potatoes. His dad has always made them and so my dad always makes them. I don't know what I will do when we move and he is not there to make them for me. I guess he and my mom will just have to come every week for Sunday dinner.

Dave and Michelle and Owen relaxing after dinner.
Nathan, Kael, and Joseph had a rousing game of football after dinner. Here is an action shot of Kael running with the ball. I missed the picture of Joseph getting wacked in the face by the ball when Nathan threw it and he lost it in the sun!
Joseph doing the Heisman and Kael running in action.

Chris and Brooke with baby Owen. Aren't they cute??
Obviously turkey does make you tired. Nathan taking a nap.
My mom looking so cute and holding Owen.
We had such a fun weekend with our families!! And we can't wait to see them all again at Christmastime!

Steph I had no idea your dad had cancer. And is it your mother in law? I'm so sorry. It's such a scary thing. But I'm so glad they are doing well. And I'm glad to see her hair growing back so fast - my sister in law has been worried about it not coming in for a few years. I hope they continue to heal and be healthy.

Oh, and my little guy will pretty much only eat rolls at Thanksgiving too. I made him eat a bite of mashed potatoes and he shuddered like it was the most horrible thing ever. I hate the food drama!
