Tagged!!

I was tagged by Elise to tell six things that you might not know about me, so here it goes.....

1. I LOVE SPORTS! I love to watch sports with Joseph or my dad and brothers. I know a lot about them because I grew up watching any sport that my dad could find on TV. I (like Elise) went to BYU games before I can remember. I was going to marry Ty Detmer and be a BYU cheerleader when I grew up. I have my favorite teams in every sport and sometimes my favorite players and I even get mad at the refs and make comments under my breath, just to turn and see Joseph laughing quietly at me.

2. I AM ALSO "PARTICULAR" ABOUT MY TOWELS...Like Kristin and Nicci I have to have the towels folded a particular way. This is not my fault though. I grew up having to fold the towels this way and now I think that this is THE ONLY way to fold them. Also, I have towels in my bathroom that are strictly for decoration only!! My father in law thinks that this is the most ridiculous thing he has ever heard. I almost had a break down a few weeks ago when Joseph finally admitted that he ALWAYS drys his hands on these 'decoration' towels and sometimes uses them after his shower if he forgets to get a towel out of the closet. I told him that I now needed new towels, because these are no longer 'decoration' towels since they have been used.

3. I AM EXTREMELY SHY AND SELF CONSCIOUS It may come across as something different to some people, but I have major issues with this. I have the hardest time talking to other people and I am convinced that people hate me, even if they have never met me. I can only talk to people that come and talk to me first. I am having a hard time with us moving and making friends with Joseph's classmates. I told him that he has made friends with all of the 'coolest' people in his class and that I am not cool enough to hang out with them and he just laughs. I am dead serious though. I have the hardest time thinking that people really like me. So, if I have ever acted 'stuck up' to any of you....I am sorry, I was probably just too terrified to talk to you.

4. I LOVE TO MAKE LISTS I could make a list of all of the lists that I need to make. I think that making a list of things makes me feel more organized, but the problem is that I hardly ever cross anything off of these lists. I just make millions of different lists and sometimes I accomplish the things on them and sometimes the items on the list just get moved to another list. I love it and I don't know why.

5. I LOVE TO BUY PRESENTS FOR PEOPLE I try to find reasons to buy presents for people. I take this very seriously. It means that I watch people all year just to see what they like and then I try to buy the perfect present for everyone. It's just something that I like to do. The part that I don't like is when I draw someone's name that is hard to read (like my brother Christopher) and I can't ever decide what to get for him. I guess that I need to pay more attention to him or something, because I am not learning very fast with him. I think that I have drawn his name for the last 7 years. I would rather not get anything for Christmas and just be able to watch people open the things that I pick out for them. That would be the perfect Christmas.

6. I HAVE TO WEAR SOCKS TO BED That may not seem that weird, but it is. I have to have socks on when I get in bed because I don't like that the sheets are cold. I keep them on until my feet get warm and then I kick them off at the bottom of the bed. Sometimes I don't kick them off until I am asleep. The problem is that I just leave them down there and pretty soon I have no socks in the drawer and Joseph pulls all of the covers back and there are 25 pairs of socks at the bottom of our bed. Also, sometimes my socks have a mind of their own and they wander. Once, when we hadn't been married for very long Joseph woke up with one of my socks on his pillow next to him. I have no idea how it got there.
