Happy Pioneer Day!!

Thursday was Pioneer Day in Utah. We had a whole day full of fun! We slept in since we were up playing games all night and then my mom made breakfast burritos! They are the best when she makes them. Then we all went bowling. It was really fun. We got a lot of pictures! Later in the afternoon we to the boys to Kung Fu Panda. They loved it and Kael wants to everyone to be a character from it every day! I think Aidan's favorite part was the popcorn! He ate almost an entire large popcorn by himself! We had a BBQ when we got home and then when it was dark we lit fireworks. I was surprised that no one cried during them! We had a great day!

Kael showing off his bowling skills
Aidan's turn! When it wasn't his turn he kept escaping to explore the bowling alley!
Waiting to see if he will get a spare!
Uncle Nay Nay....I'm not sure why he is sad in this picture.

An action shot of Joseph....I don't know if that pinky helps or what?? :)
Dave and Michelle waiting for their turn.
I am not sure how this picture got in the middle of all of these, but this was another adventure from the day. Kael, Joseph, and Nathan decided to catch some bugs. They found some spiders, grasshoppers, and a praying mantis. This is Joseph and Nathan watching while the praying mantis ate one of the spiders! Gross!!

FIREWORKS!!
I think Joseph was even more excited than the boys about the fireworks!

Nathan being angry again
Brooke singing "God Bless America" with her sparklers!

When the fireworks were over we went back inside, put the kids to bed, and played more Apples to Apples until Midnight! :) Happy Pioneer Day! :)
