A "Little" Look Back at Christmas!

Here goes a pretty quick version of our 3 week visit to Utah at Christmastime. We had a blast! We got to do a lot of fun things with our families and got to have a lot of fun with all of the Christmastime activities. First, I just have to say how proud I am of my kids. When we left for Salt Lake it was the third time they had flown in 2 months. If you count all of the coming and going and the switching of planes, it was the 7th plane they had been on in 2 months. If you think of all of the luggage, carry ons, strollers, car seats, and little bodies that had to get on and off of all of those planes, that is impressive. By the time we got back to Omaha they had been on thier 10th plane of those 2 months. We have got things down to a science I tell ya. Kael knows exactly what backpack is his responsibility, and he also got really good at reminding me to give him his medicine so that he didn't puke all over the plane. They really are the best little boys! Here is a quick look back at our Christmas vacation........

We got to play with the big letters at Grandma Chele's house

We helped Grandma Sid make cookies!

We picked some special ones out to leave for Santa

And then we ate the rest of them!!

And they were REALLY good!

We spent Christmas Eve at the Johnson's house.

With our cousins and Aunts and Uncles.

(Shawn, James, and Kaleb)

We cried for no apparant reason and Uncle Joel was the only one that could make us happy again.

We ate some yummy food.

And played with all of our cousins

We dressed up for the nativity......as shepherds.

and as the angel and Mary

We dipped our fingers in the jello and whipped creme when we thought no one was looking!

And then we tried to look SO CUTE when we got caught.

We also played the part of Joseph in the nativity

And we did a pretty good job of sitting still for a while.

And we rested against Daddy.....who had to be the sheep to try to keep the shepherds under control.

Then we opened new pajamas at Grandma Sid's house

And showed Mom how grown up we really were!

(We actually appreciated the PJ's this year)

Then we modeled them for everyone.

And then we got wild for a minute

Some of us even fell off of a Rip Stick in the road on Christmas Eve.

Then we woke up WAY too early!!

So we could check out what Santa brought

We even made Uncle Dave and Aunt Michelle get up

We opened all of our presents

And we got lots of cool stuff

And our eye got worse and swelled shut

Then we worked on our laptop with Uncle Dave

We even drove to Ogden to get Hunan Village takeout for a late Christmas snack

And we got to talk to UNCLE NAY NAY in Panama

And the zhu zhu pets tried to eat our Christmas goodies

And again our eye got worse.....

We watched lots of fun movies and played toys.

And when we finally got back to Omaha, this is what we found!!

What happened to our backyard??!!

It hasn't stopped snowing since!!!!

We Had A Great Christmas!!

What a beautiful eye! I'm glad you had fun. I'm not jealous of the snow, though.

Someone should tell me when pictures are being taken so I don't look like I am the evil stepmother!! Or just leave me out of them! These are great pictures though! You need to start getting rid of all that snow before I get there!
