HAPPY BIRTHDAY JOSEPH!

Joseph turned 27 last Friday on November 30th. We had a great day because he didn't have to go to school so we got to have him home all day!! It was so great and it made us look forward to Christmas break which officially starts tomorrow afternoon!! YAY! We did few fun things for his birthday. First we got to sleep in!! Well, actually I don't think that we slept in because Owen likes to wake up pretty early, but we didn't have to get up and get ready to go anywhere. We picked my dad up from the airport on his way home from a business trip to Buffalo and we went to lunch at Crown Burger, one of Joseph's very favorite places to eat. My mom met us down here at our apartment. He got to open all of his presents and actually spent a few minutes playing XBox for the first time in months. My parents took us to dinner at Bajio. Joseph got to pick and he says that he made a wrong choice. We liked it, but we decided that we would rather eat at Cafe Rio or Costa Vida. We had a Snickers cake that we bought for him and then because it was his birthday I actually sat down and watched Transformers with him. Joseph saw it at the theater with his brothers and he loved it. I unfortunately missed that movie trip, (Sense the sarcasm). Joseph "accidentally" bought it when it came out and I have been making any excuse I could come up with since then of why I couldn't watch it. I figured since it was his birthday I could let him choose the movie and it actually wasn't that bad I guess. If you like robots that turn into cars and come to earth and that sort of thing! :)

Here is Joseph humoring us with his cake. Doesn't he look excited??
Kael helping Joseph blow out the candles. He wants everyone's birthday to be his. Only a few more months buddy!
Also Happy Birthday to Michele! Joseph and his mom share the same birthday. We didn't see her on her birthday, but we got to see her later that weekend.

Isn't it so nice to have them home sometimes? I remember when Travis was in graduate school and I hated that he was always gone. Now that he's teaching, I always look forward to the end of the semester and the summertime cause we get him all to ourselves!

Happy Birthday Joseph. He has the same birthday as my mom and Levi's grandma. It is a good day!
