Baby Animal Day!

On Saturday Joseph and Grandpa Steve (my dad) took Kael and Aidan to the American West Heritage Center for Baby Animal Day. I kept Owen with me. My mom, Michelle, and I spent the whole afternoon at a baby shower for Savanna, and a bridal shower for Brooke. We had fun, but the boys had a blast! Kael still talks about the tiny turtle that he got to hold. From what Joseph and my dad have told me, they had a great time and Aidan is fearless. He wanted to hug and maul every little animal that they saw, even a turkey that he backed into a corner! Here are some cute pictures that they managed to take while they were trying to keep up with the two crazy boys! Also, notice the cute Jazz jerseys?? I have wanted to get them some for a while. Joseph told me that I could get them some if I found Korver jerseys. I looked last month and they didn't make them yet. (I am pretty sure that was Joseph's plan), but we were at the mall the other day and we walked past Fanzz and there they were. We are now the proud owners of two Kyle Korver jerseys. GO CREIGHTON!

Here is Kael trying to climb the fence while they were waiting to meet Grandpa Steve.
Some cute little pigs. Aidan loved both of them and gave them hugs. Kael told me that he only petted the pink one because "the black one looked mean".

Aidan with a little calf.

Petting the calf. Look at the excitement on Aidan's face!
Peeking through the fence at a calf.
Going to see the rooster. Grandpa Steve had to keep a tight grip on him so that he wouldn't attack it!

Another little calf.
Some extremely freaky llamas or alpaca or something. It's scary because it looks like it's smiling for the camera.
Kael holding a turtle that is only 3 months old. He is SO excited!

Holding the tiny turtle!
The boys posing with the flowers that they got for me. They are made out of wood, but they smell like roses. How cute is that?
After baby animal day they went to visit my grandpa and grandma (my dad's parents) My grandpa is the best. They have a dog named Dooger so Kael calls my grandpa, Grandpa Dooger. They love Banoose and Grandpa Dooger and are always excited to go see them!
THANKS DADDY AND GRANDPA STEVE!! WE HAD A GREAT DAY!

We went to Baby Animal Days too! We've been for the past 3 years and we love it. I still need to get the pics on the computer though. It looks like your boys are much braver than my kids. Cooper gets more scared each year! What a fun boys day they had! I also love the picture of them in box. Aren't kids so helpful when you are trying to pack and clean for a move? As for you moving, you better come see me soon or else...

How fun, I always wanted to take Tayton their but he was too little when we lived up there. How is your dad doing with his prostate cancer? My dad had his surgery in November and is still having some issues but is doing good for the most part. When do you guys move?

Love the Jazz jerseys. We like Korver too. What a great addition he has been to the team. Go Jazz. My grandkids usually go to Thanksgiving Point to see the farm animals.
