A Bridal Shower and a Man Shower

The past few weeks have been pretty eventful! We are trying to get packed to move in less than two weeks (YIKES!) and also trying to have a wedding two days before we move! On top of that Joseph is trying to finish his finals! We had a couple of showers for the bride and groom (Chris and Brooke). First we had a bridal shower at my mom's house for Brooke. We decorated all in pink and brown. Pink is her favorite color and brown is his! Here are a couple of pics from that....

The cute table. All pink and brown. The M&M's said "Chris and Brooke" on them!
Opening presents.....we had a kitchen shower for her. These are some cook books that she got.
A glass measuring/pouring thing from Pampered Chef. I don't know what they are called, I just know that I really like the one that I have! :)
A picture from Pampered Chef too. Someone apparantly said something funny. She got a lot of nice gifts and stuff to use in the kitchen. I didn't get very many pictures because I was the host and the photographer! Oh well. We had a lot of fun.
A couple of weeks later we had a "MAN" shower for Christoph. It has kind of become a tradition in the Johnson/Larsen households to have one of these for the guys when they get married. The couples come and bring gifts to help with the "honey do's" or just to make the groom more manly!

A great new tool set from the men of the Johnson household.
His new grill from Brooke's parents.
These are their "red neck" teeth that Grandpa Chad (Joseph's dad) got them too. He wanted them to put them in and then kiss, but Brooke was laughing too hard to keep them in! He made her promise they would get a picture with them on their wedding day.

Brooke got a pink tool set from my mom for the times she has to take matters into her own hands. Christoph has the pink hammer in his hand and is making fun of it. He said it was like a doll hammer.
He was NOT making fun of it anymore when they had to use the pink scissors from her pink tool kit to open his present!
It's a good thing they got it open, because look what was inside! My parents like to spoil us I guess! :) They just look a little bit excited don't you think??
Congrats guys! We love you! I hope that you got some nice stuff to help start you out!
