We have been working with Aidan on his speech a lot lately. He is doing really well and starting to say more words. He goes to speech therapy once a week and a speech intensive preschool every Wednesday. He is trying to say new things all of the time. He is also very into climbing lately! He is always on top of something. One of his new words that he says all of the time is OLIVES. Today he brought me a can of olives out of the cupboard and said OLIVES! Then he did the sign for open and said O-en. It was so cute and I was so excited! I got him some olives in a bowl and put them on his chair. I came back into the kitchen and this is what I found....

I think he has 3 or 4 olives in his mouth in this picture!
Then mommy showed him how to put them on his fingers. He giggled the entire time I was putting them on, and then he just stared at them forever!
Finally he started to take them off one by one and eat them. Kids are so much fun!

Whoo hoo! Glad to see Aidan climbing. He's learning so fast right now. It's great he gets speech twice a week. I was impressed with how much he said the other day.
