Last weekend we went up to Brigham like we usually do. We usually go on Saturday, but we had some errands to run, so we went on Friday. On Saturday morning my dad (Grandpa Steve) and my Grandpa (Grandpa Dooger....Dooger is his dog's name so Kael calls him Grandpa Dooger) got a load of compost to put in all of my dad's flower beds. He asked Kael if he wanted to come out and help. I thought it was going to be a disaster (my dad's yard is beautiful and Kael is wild) but my dad found him a bucket and a "shovel" (really we couldn't find a little one so he used a dust pan) and took him out to help. Kael LOVED it. I came out to take some pictures and Kael informed me that he was working with Grandpa Steve in the beautiful garden. Flower garden maybe?? He still talks about it and wants to look at the pictures everyday.
Kael, Grandpa Steve, and Grandpa Dooger shoveling compost.
Kael proudly showing off his "shovel". I came out to take his picture and he said "Hey, no pictures mom.....we are working here." He's only four!!
Running to help flatten another pile of dirt
Getting another load with the big guys.
His very own bucket full of dirt
He is about to dump the dirt, but he saw that I was taking his picture again and he was really annoyed!
