We had our first Nebraska corn on the cob the other night and it was great!! I got out the handy Pampered Chef corn cob holders and Kael and Aidan thought it was great! It was so good that Joseph has been trying to get us to eat it every night with whatever we are having!! Tonight he has even offered to grill hamburgers so that we can have corn on the cob! I guess it's official.......we are Nebraskee-ans.
Aidan did eat his....he is just more excited about his pizza in this picture!

This reminds me of eating fresh corn at Grandpa Johnson's house in the summer after we had bottled a billion pints of green beans. I can remember lots of summers when he'd pick the corn, husk it, and immediately put it into a hugh big cooker that Grandma Johnson had boiling. It was so good. Uncle Larry would eat at least 3 ears!
