He's a Sophomore!!

YAY! Joseph is officially done with his freshman year of dental school!!! :) Only three more to go! I know that sounds like a ton, but this year has flown by! We are moving to Omaha in 12 days and on May 27th he will officially start his sophomore year at Creighton University. I am so proud of him and his drive to go through all of this schooling. He is also the best husband and the best dad. We are excited and nervous to start again in Omaha, but I can honestly say that moving down here and going through this year together has been a lot better than I thought it would be. We have enjoyed being close to family, but still away. We have grown up a lot and have had some really fun experiences down here with our boys. We hope that the next three years will be just as great. If anyone is feeling like a vacation to the "cornhusker" state, we have a hide-a-bed and a nice, new, really soft sectional for people to sleep on. I hear Omaha has a great zoo, and there is always the College Baseball World Series!! Feel free to come and visit anytime! :)

Best of luck to you guys! And if you think about it in terms of how fast the kids grow, three years will go by in no time!

Moving away has been the best thing for us. Not that it wasn't scary or that it isn't hard sometimes not having family right here- but it really has been great. In fact- I'm pretty sure we aren't coming back. Anyway- it is an exciting new adventure for you guys and we just might take you up on the offer to visit sometime. There is always a place for you at our house if you ever want to suffer the Arizona heat.

I'm so excited for you in your new adventure! When we lived in Spokane we had to rely on each other so much more and it was a great experience even if it was hard. Good luck and come see me before you leave!

Good luck moving and congrats Joe on finishing up your first year of dental school! It will take a while to get used to not living with family close by, but it makes you appreciate them so much more. That is so nice that both parents are coming to help you move. I wish I could see you guys before you moved.

I am already looking forward to our visit! I can't wait! Good luck on the move. I really am so bummed that you are leaving, but I will get over it eventually. We will miss our Friday night Wii parties! The move will be such a good experience!
