Happy 4th of July!

We had a really busy and really fun 4th of July this year! We missed being in Brigham for the fireworks at the park, especially since it was our 10 year anniversary of our first official date! Wow! We went to the fireworks together 10 years ago! And now look at us! Three crazy boys and living in Omaha Nebraska! Crazy! We found some fun ways to spend the day with a lot of different friends.

First we went to a picnic lunch at a really nice park with a bunch of friends from our ward. We had lunch and then played some crazy games! There was a bubble gum blowing contest and also a watermelon seed spitting contest. Then there were water balloon games of course! We had a great time talking to our neighbors and letting the kids run around with some of their friends.

After the picnic we went to Lake Manawa to visit some of our friends from Joseph's class. The kids ran around and played for a while, but we didn't get to stay for long....they were so tired and ready for a nap!

Owen....he is 9 days older than Lily and Ruby. I have a feeling in a couple of years he is going to have a couple of girlfriends like his brother!

Later that night we did some fireworks with some of the neighbors and then we walked down to a baseball field and watched the fireworks that they launch from the stadium.

I know this post is really long, but one last funny story. That night when I was putting Kael to bed he kept stalling. Finally he said "Mommy, can I ask you one more thing?" I told him he could and in a very serious voice he asked "Do you know, the muffin man?" I just had to start laughing at him. He is quite the character!
