Just Some Pics

Things have been busy this week getting done with summer semester and taking finals. Everything went well with my tests and we are excited to go to Utah next Wednesday. I haven't posted since one of the first entries of the blog, so I am just going to post a few fun pics of what we have been doing while Steph is taking care of Owen. It will be nice to have a month off. We have been painting Owen's room and will post pics when it is done. Here are a few random pics I took the other day.

Kael and Aidan getting along nicely. They play pretty well together most of the time. The twinner shirts can be attributed to my wife's addiction to online shopping.

My cute family minus me. We are really enjoying this time of our lives, being on our own and learning and growing together.

We went to the Mall of the Bluffs in Council Bluffs this morning just to get out of the house. Inside they have a toy and collectibles store that we entered to find a bunch of new models from the Disney Cars collection. It prompted the following photos.

Pitts and Mater with their car collection. I counted just over 160 cars after we took the picture. We can thank Grandma Sid and my wife for most of them, but I will admit some involvement. It is a little exciting when you find a new model to take home to the boys. Their faces glow when they see a new one to add to their collection. I guess I am a softy.

If you click this pic to enlarge it you will see how evil the Disney people are. They come out with new ones every time we think we don't have to get any more because we have them all. The worst is when they give the same model a new paint job or change one little thing, because the kids notice the differences. Good marketing I guess.

I think Kael's hair is awesome in this one so I put it on too. I think I will let my wife do the blogging from now on since she does a much better job, but I guess this can be my yearly contribution.

Good job posting on the blog, Joseph. Congratulations also, getting all 160 cars lined up with the boys sitting nicely for the picture! My grandson Kevin is 12 and has a nice collection, but not as big as yours. See you at the lake!!

So cute! I too have the addiction to online shopping. In fact, my boys have the green version of that shirt. And it's good to hear from you once in a while too, Joe!

Joseph,
Definately one of the most amazing blogs I've ever read! (Don't let it get to your head, I don't really read any others)

I must say that I enjoyed the pictures of all the cars. I knew you have 161 of them, but it's much different to see something than to hear it.

Well, I'm glad that we survived summer semester. We'll just have to see what Fall is like.

That is exactly how I found you. My sister was looking at your brothers blog and I said hey I know her and it was you. I'm in the phone book, call if you have a boring day. We could go to the park or something!

Like how there are six different Lightning McQueens? I hate Disney. And my kids are so disappointed when we can't find new ones. I think Jaxon has outgrown it. And I think your boy's obsession might be worse than my boys:). Your little guys are getting so big!
